Moron of the Month

The Moron for the month of October is for a second straight month the Boston Red Sox!

Men don't watch soap operas because they have sports! My soap opera of choice is called the Boston Red Sox. I follow European soccer because that is a soap opera, but as of lately the MLB is providing me with plenty of drama that is far surpassing anything I have ever seen in Europe.

I can't believe the Red Sox would fire Francona, force Theo out the door, and have fired chicken and beer rallies. If they would have made the playoffs they would have been deemed the Idiots Part Two.

Now one of the best managers in the game has been asked to leave and has left. So who is steering the ship? Remember this was the same manager that took a team that was down three games to none against the rivals and won! A matter of fact they were one out away from being eliminated and he calmed the team, and made history with one of the greatest comebacks in sports! I am sure Pedroia is going nuts. (James and I love Pedroia! When he leaves or retires hopefully the latter of the two we will be devastated!)

In Theo we Trust! Don't you not remember this creed! People made t-shirt in Boston with this creed printed on them. Theo is the architect of this team. Theo is hands down the general manager in all of sports. He is the man that had the gonads to trade Nomar for among other things Dave Roberts. Remember when Dave stole second base against Mariano Rivera (the best closer in baseball), then came home after the next base hit to tie the game in the 9th inning. The beginning of the 4 game comeback to take the American league championship series. Theo build that team!

As far as the fried chicken and beer rallies goes. Give me a break! I don't know of any job in the world that lets you drink while you are on the job. So those players deserve the criticism they are getting. If they would stop being selfish and think of the team they probably would have won!

For all these actions and many more not mentioned is the reasons why the Red Sox are the Morons of the Month for the second straight month!
